When can I apply?

Applications are open from the 15th of November 2021 until July 15th 2022.

What are the requirements to participate in the Solvay Summer School?

1. You should have a decent level in English (min B2)
2. You should be at least 18 years old.
3. You must be enrolled in a University/school of higher education or working in a related field.

What are the promotions currently available?

Early Bird: book your participation before April 15th 2022 and get a discount of €100 on the Explorer and Wanderer Packs, or a €50 discount on the Essentialist Pack.

If you are a member of a partner university, benefit from a €65 discount on the Explorer and Wanderer Packs, or a €50 discount on the Essentialist Pack. This promotion is valid for the duration of the registration period and can be combined with the Early Bird offer. Do not hesitate to reach out to us in the Contact Us section if you are not sure whether you are eligible for this promotion or not!

What are the different packages?

You have the choice between three different packages:

The Explorer includes the course material, challenges & workshops, breakfast, lunch and dinner at restaurants, European Institutions visits, city visits, nightlife and an individual student room on campus – 1050€

The Wanderer includes the course material, challenges & workshops, breakfast, lunch and dinner at restaurants, European Institutions visits, city visits and nightlife – 760€

The Essentialist includes the course material, challenges & workshops, breakfast & lunch and European Institutions visits – 490€

What are the different options?

You will get to choose between Public Policies, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Business Law. In addition to the courses related to your chosen option, you will follow a main course with all the participants.

What are the challenges about?

The challenges are real case studies that you will have to solve in teams and finally pitch to our partners. This year PwC will give us the honor to present the Digital Challenge and SAP, one of our most loyal partners, will prepare the Strategy Challenge.

Do you offer a scolarship?

The Solvay Summer School being organised by students, we are unfortunately not able to offer scolarships for our program. However, do not hesitate to ask us wether you are studying at a partner institution and thus can get a discount.

Can you help me with the visa?

Yes, as soon as you are accepted our Admission Coordinator will send you a document that will allow you to obtain a visa (if you need one).

Can I cancel my participation?

From the moment you receive confirmation of your enrollment, an amount of €50 is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

If you cancel your participation at least 35 days before the start of the programme, you will be fully refunded except for the registration fee (€50).
Cancellations made at least 25 days before the programme starts will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel less than 25 days ahead the Solvay Summer School will not refund you.
